Salt Pond Photo Identification Cards

Owners are required to show photo IDs to gain entry to Salt Pond recreational amenities. Dependent children over the age of 16 should also have a photo ID. Dependent children are those residing at home or attending school and declared on your income tax.

To apply for an ID, a form must be completed and returned to the Community Manager, or an attendant, along with a passport-quality photo (one per person). Driver's liscence is not acceptable.

A Photo I.D. will be issued to owners, spouse, and dependent children 16 years and older.

DEPENDENT ID RENEWAL: The dependent children I.D. cards are only valid for 2 years due to circumstances changing. To renew, please obtain the renewal form from the attendant at the fitness center. Complete the signed form and drop off the current card to the attendant. Expired cards will not be honored at the end of May of each year.

PASSES:

YELLOW GUEST PASSES are to be used by homeowners' children who are not dependants, and guests. If not accompanied by the owner, they must have the owner's photo ID with the yellow guest pass. Additional guest passes may be purchased from the inside attendant for $20.

BLUE TENANT PASSES must be purchased for $80 from the indoor attendant. The tenant must show a copy of the lease agreement to purchase the pass. Owners may also purchase a blue tenant pass to provide for their tenant. Homeowners who provide tenants with photo ID and yellow guest pass could lose their privileges.

Owners are required to accompany their guests to the facilities or send their personal photo ID along with the guest card. See the SPHA Rules and Regulations for further details.

    Outdoor Swimming Pool


    • The outdoor pool will open for the 2010 season on Saturday, May 22rd and close on Monday, September 6th, Labor Day. 

    • The hours of operation will be the same as previous years:

    Sunday - Thursday 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

    (Note: The Board recently approved, on a trial basis, a decision to extend pool hours to 7 PM in July, so those working and living in the Salt Pond may have some use of the pool at the end of their day)

    Friday and Saturday 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.

    Adult swim - 12:45, 1:45, 2:45, 3:45 and 4:45 P.M.

    Adult Swim is in effect during July and August

    Lap Swimming begins daily June 28 from 9 am to 10 am. It is for those 16 years and older only

    Indoor Swimming Pool & Spa

    The indoor pool and spa are closed for the summer season when the outdoor pool is open.

    They will reopen Tuesday, September 8th when the outdoor pool closes.

    • Hours

    Indoor pool and exercise facilities will be open
    7 A.M. to 11 A.M. and 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. weekdays,
    8 A.M. to 6 P.M. on Saturdays and
    9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Sundays.

    The hours are subject to change. 

    The indoor facility will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter. 

    Summer hours are 7 A.M to 7 P.M.  Indoor pool will be closed.

    Exercise Room

    • Hours - Open daily from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. during summer season from Memorial Day through Labor Day. When Indoor Pool is open, Exercise Room follows same hours as Indoor Pool.

Community Center 

  • NEW Salt Pond Community Center Rental Rates

The Community Center rents space to Salt Pond owners, as well as to others outside the Salt Pond.  2010 rates are as follows:

  • Residents:
    - Rate is $30 per hour
    - 4 Hour / $120 Minimum
    - $125 Charge for cleaning
    - Set-up time billed at hourly rate
    - No Deposit Required


  • Non-residents:
    - Rate is $60 per hour.
    - 4 Hour / $240 Minimum
    - $125 Charge for cleaning
    - Set-up time billed at hourly rate
    - $125 Non-refundable deposit which may be applied to final cost.


    • In addition, if you are involved with some club or organization that is looking for a regular meeting space, we can make special arrangements for such situations.
